The Hollywood Reporter

Nathan Lane and the producers of “Frasier” have been given a 13-episode series order from NBC for a sitcom that stars Lane as an opera singer who quits his career to help run his family’s California vineyard.

In 1995, Lane guest-starred in an episode of the Emmy-winning NBC sitcom in which he played a kleptomaniac who stole Frasier’s car.

Lane is starring in “Mouse Hunt.”
