Stolen Pickup Truck Rams Into North Spokane Ice Rink

Someone used a stolen pickup truck to ram through a door at a north Spokane ice rink Friday, police said.

Officers responding to an activated burglar alarm arrived at Eagles Ice-A-Rena, 6321 N. Addison, about 2:30 a.m. They found a roll-up door smashed and the pickup nearby.

They also saw a man running away and attempted to track him with a police dog, but he got away.

Officers who investigated the inside of the building found the pro shop trashed. Mangers aren’t sure if anything was stolen.

The pickup was towed away as evidence.
