Bruce and Dianne Higgens, Coeur d’Alene, observed their 40th wedding anniversary Saturday.
Their children and spouses are: Michelle and Patrick Franz; and Sue Ann Higgens, all of Portland; Curtis and Leigh Ann Higgens, Arlington, Texas; and Andrea and Rudy Higgens, Eugene, Ore.
The couple were married Dec. 27, 1957, in Coeur d’Alene.
