Holiday Closures

The following offices and services will be affected by Thursday’s New Year’s holiday:

Federal, state, county and city offices will be closed. That includes state liquor stores.

There will be no mail delivery, and all post offices will be closed. Delivery will resume Friday.

Spokane Transit Authority buses will run on the holiday schedule.

Garbage service in the city of Spokane will be one day late, as will service for Valley Garbage customers.

Most banks will be closed. They will reopen Friday.

There will be free parking at all Spokane city meters Thursday.

Public schools are continued closed until Jan. 5.
