1:30 p.m., Senate Hearing Room 3, John A. Cherberg Bldg., Senate Higher Education Committee public hearing on SB5106, creating the Washington advanced college tuition payment program.

Tuesday

10 a.m., Senate Hearing Room 3, John A. Cherberg Bldg., Senate Government Operations Committee public hearing on SB5055, repealing the growth management act, SB5057, authorizing a county to exempt itself from the growth management act by resolution and SB5506, increasing flexibility for counties and cities in implementing growth management.

10 a.m., House Hearing Room A, John L. O’Brien Bldg., House Law and Justice Committee public hearing on HB1130, which reaffirms and protects the institution of marriage.

10 a.m., House Hearing Room D, John L. O’Brien Bldg., House Energy and Utilities Committee public hearing on HB1346, imposing a use tax on electricity.

3:30 p.m., Senate Hearing Room 2, John A. Cherberg Bldg., Senate Transportation Committee public hearing on SB5430, allowing public transit systems to pay for city street repairs.

Wednesday

8 a.m., House Hearing Room E, John L. O’Brien Bldg., House Government Reform and Land Use committee public hearing on HB1517, which would allow local governments to choose not to plan under the growth management act.

Thursday

10 a.m., Senate Hearing Room 3, John A. Cherberg Bldg., Senate Government Operations Committee public hearing on SB5051, providing for review of orders and decisions by growth management hearings boards. Also being heard is SB5185, revising procedures for growth management hearings boards.

Friday
