Women’s basketball

Leticia Oseguera had 16 points and 12 rebounds to carry UC Irvine past Idaho 65-62 in a Big West Conference women’s basketball game in Irvine, Calif., on Sunday.

Alli Nieman paced Idaho with 25 points and 12 rebounds.

The Anteaters (10-9, 5-3) outrebounded the Vandals (9-10, 4-3) 44-29. Idaho finished just 3 of 14 from 3-point range.

Muriel Page scored eight points in overtime to lead the Gators to a Southeastern Conference victory in Fayetteville, Ark.

Page finished with 23 points and grabbed 15 rebounds as well.

In overtime, Florida hit 4 of 5 of its field-goal attempts, while the Lady Razorbacks failed to make a shot from the field.

Florida (16-5, 6-1 SEC) trailed 59-55 with 4:34 left in regulation before rallying to tie and force overtime against Arkansas (15-5, 4-3).
