Russia’s Sergey Klevchenya won the men’s overall title and Franziska Schenk of Germany swept all four women’s races in the World Sprint Speedskating Championships.

A two-time medalist at the 1994 Winter Games, Klevchenya struck gold in the Olympic Viking Ship hall, beating Norwegian favorite Roger Strom and American Casey Fitzrandolph in the final two races.

Schenk, who was third last year, finished a whopping 1,895 points ahead of runner-up Xue Ruihong of China. Defending champion Christine Witty of the United States was third.
