Rose Mccafferty Spokane

Rose E. (Sievers) McCafferty, Spokane, is 100 years old today.

Mrs. McCafferty, born in Spangle, is a lifelong resident of the Inland Northwest. She has lived at the Royal Park Care Center the past four years.

She and Clyde O. “Mac” McCafferty were married in 1920. He died in 1990.

During World War II, Mrs. McCafferty worked in a school cafeteria and did Red Cross volunteer work as part of the war effort.

Mrs. McCafferty bore two children: Dorothy Spears of Irvine, Calif., and the late Evelyn M. Murphy. She has four granddaughters.
