Man On ‘Most Wanted’ List Nabbed In Canada
One of the U.S. Marshals Service’s “15 Most Wanted” fugitives, a career criminal sought in a 1994 Seattle murder, has been arrested in Canada, authorities announced Saturday.
Scott Allan Freeburg, 38, was apprehended Thursday in Surrey, British Columbia, after more than two years on the lam, the Marshals Service said.
An informant tipped a task force in Canada that Freeburg was driving a stolen pickup truck and was carrying a loaded automatic weapon, said Dennis Behrend, supervisory deputy marshal in Seattle.
Freeburg was taken into custody without incident.
