Mr. And Mrs. Stroyan Chewelah, Wash.

Jake and Elsie Stroyan, Chewelah, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception at the American Legion Hall in Chewelah, Feb. 16 from 1 to 4 p.m.

Hosts for the event will be their children and spouses: Carol Ann and Gary Peck, Patsy Cotter, Mary Kay Rausch, Mary Helen and Lyle Lindquist, and David and Brenda Stroyan, all of Chewelah; Jerry and Janelle Stroyan, Colville; Jim and Kathy Stroyan, Riverside; Diane and Matt Cobb, Yakima; and Cindy and Tim Ecklund, Spokane.

The Stroyans were married Feb. 18, 1947, in Chewelah. They have 24 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
