Duke Grabs Game Lead In Race For Acc Crown

Trajan Langdon scored a career-high 34 points and No. 6 Duke inched a step closer to the Atlantic Coast Conference regular-season title Tuesday night with an 84-77 win over No. 8 Clemson in Durham, N.C.

The Blue Devils (22-5, 11-3 ACC) won their season-high seventh straight to move a game ahead of No. 4 Wake Forest by beating the Tigers (20-6, 8-5).

(11) Cincinnati 97, Houston 64

The Bearcats clinched their sixth consecutive 20-win season with the home win over the Cougars. Cincinnati went to 20-5 and 8-1 in Conference USA as Houston fell to 11-12, 3-8.

(9) South Carolina 78, Arkansas 65

At Columbia, S.C., the Gamecocks (19-6, 12-1 Southeastern Conference) got their first-ever victory over the Razorbacks (14-9, 7-6).

Purdue 89, (24) Indiana 87 (OT)

At Bloomington, Ind., the Boilermakers (14-10, 9-5 Big 10) gained a sweep of the Hoosiers (20-8, 7-7).
