One-Car Wreck Kills Woman Near Ritzville

From Staff And Wire Reports

An Oregon woman died Tuesday in a one-car wreck near Ritzville, Wash., the Washington State Patrol reported.

Beverly Bryan, 18, of Hillsboro, was killed about 7 a.m. when she lost control of the 1987 Ford two-door she was driving in the westbound lanes of Interstate 90.

Troopers said the car left the road to the north and rolled over twice before coming to rest on its side.

Both Bryan and her passenger, Lindsey Harbour, were thrown from the vehicle. Neither was wearing a seat belt, troopers said.

Harbour, 18, of Aloha, Ore., was badly cut in the wreck.

She was taken by ambulance to Ritzville Hospital, then flown by helicopter to Deaconess Medical Center in Spokane, where she was listed in critical condition late Tuesday.
