Clinton To Attend Environmental Summit

President Clinton will attend a long-sought environmental summit at Lake Tahoe by early summer, U.S. Sen. Harry Reid told Nevada lawmakers Wednesday.

“I am elated to tell you that just yesterday the White House gave a go-ahead on the summit,” Reid, D-Nev., told a joint meeting of the Assembly and Senate. He added that Clinton was excited about his first visit to the scenic mountain lake.
