Lamb Nears Milestone For Eagles

The girls teams from St. John-Endicott and Tekoa-Oakesdale moved closer to state-tournament berths Monday in the District 9-B tournament.

Record-setting Tricia Lamb scored 23 points as St. John-Endicott squeezed past Waitsburg 49-47. Tekoa-Oakesdale drubbed DeSales 67-42 as Sally Palmer scored 27.

In boys play, DeSales advanced by downing Waitsburg 56-50.
