Remains Of 5 Mias Being Returned

Compiled From Wire Services

The remains of five U.S. servicemen killed in the Vietnam War and previously listed as missing will be returned to their families for burial, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.

The bodies of Marine Capt. William Clay III of Henderson, N.C., Navy Cmdr. Roger G. Emrich of Miami and three Army soldiers will be flown home, the department said in a statement. The names and hometowns of the Army servicemen were withheld at the request of family members.

Officials said the remains will leave Hickam Air Force Base in Hawaii today.
