More than 200 items will be offered for sale at the auction, which begins at 7 p.m. and is expected to last about two hours.

Proceeds will be used to send more than 100 high school students to Tijuana, Mexico, in April to help build 11 homes.

Items that will be auctioned include lunch at the Spokane Club with U.S. Rep. George Nethercutt, a picnic on the Palouse, rock-climbing lessons at Wild Walls, several vacation getaways, a concert ticket package that includes a limousine ride and baby sitting, various handmade crafts, and games.

There is no charge for admission into the auction, and child care will be provided.
