Weather Causes Decrease In Goodwill Donations
The ice, snow and recent flooding have caused a critical drop in donations this season to Goodwill Industries in the Inland Northwest.
“We are empty,” says MariAnn McClain, Goodwill’s marketing director.
Donated goods - repaired and sold at Goodwill stores - result in jobs for more than 300 Goodwill employees, many of whom are disabled.
Donations may be dropped off at one of Goodwill’s 18 donation centers in the region or at any Goodwill store. Home pickups also are available. Call (509) 838-4246 for more information.
