Republic Beats St. George’s

 

Boys basketball

Republic (7-0, 5-0) took a major step toward Panorama League superiority Saturday when Jason Baldwin scored 18 points in a 56-48 victory at St. George’s (5-4, 3-2).

Republic (7-0, 5-0) came out of the Panorama No. 2 last year, behind St. George’s, and just missed a berth to state. The Dragons (5-4, 3-2) made state last year and placed second.
