Seniors Need Help Preparing Their Taxes

Low-income seniors need volunteers to help them prepare their tax returns this year.

The American Association of Retired Persons and the Internal Revenue Service will sponsor volunteer training sessions at the Lake City Senior Center, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Jan. 13, 15, 17 and 20. The IRS will supervise the training.

Volunteers will help seniors fill out tax forms at libraries, community centers, schools, banks and malls. To volunteer or for information, call Ben Davis at 667-6914.
