A Spokane man was killed Monday morning when he was thrown from a vehicle near Lind, Wash.
The Washington State Patrol said Jack D. MacLeod, 52, suffered extensive head, neck and chest injuries when a 1989 Jeep Cherokee driven by 37-year-old Marek Klobuchowski, of Bellingham, lost control on U.S. Highway 395.
The two men were traveling south on the highway before the Jeep rolled twice just before 7:30 a.m.
MacLeod was pronounced dead at East Adams Rural Hospital in Lind, and Klobuchowski suffered hand and scalp lacerations.
