Red Cross Account Set Up At U.S. Bank

From Staff Reports

Idaho’s American Red Cross chapters have set up a bank account at U.S. Bank to collect donations for people in need as a result of flooding and snowstorms across the state.

A Red Cross team is assessing damage in North Idaho, but the majority of the damage occurred elsewhere in the state.

The Red Cross has been airlifting food to stranded residents, and across Hells Canyon in Oregon assisted in sending a mule team to families stranded 10 miles outside of Imnaha since New Year’s Day.

Estimates place the number of Idaho families needing Red Cross assistance at 300. The organization expects to spend $100,000 to $500,000 on relief efforts. The U.S. Bank account number is 426-7802-090. , DataTimes
