Sarah Walter had 21 points, four assists and three steals as Bonners Ferry rolled past Lakeland 69-43 in an Intermountain League girls basketball game at Bonners Ferry on Tuesday.

Walter scored seven as Lakeland built a 16-5 first-quarter lead.

Amber Paulson added 19 points, 13 rebounds and two blocked shots for Bonners Ferry, now 4-0 in league.

Clark Fork (3-7, 2-1) took advantage of Cindy Worcester’s 10 points and 10 rebounds and Mullan’s 36 turnovers to romp past the Tigers (1-8, 0-2).

Mullan, which got 14 points from Katie Elwood, cut Clark Fork’s 16-7 halftime lead to six points midway through the third period, but turned the ball over 11 times in the final quarter to snuff out its own comeback hopes.
