Police Blotter Coeur d’Alene police

Gene Valiquette reported Tuesday the $440 theft of a trailer hitch, gas can and two running boards from a car while it was parked at Ponderosa Motors, 1902 Fourth St.

Kootenai County sheriff

Corey Smith, Post Falls, reported Friday the $300 theft of a chainsaw from his home on the 2000 block of Mullan Avenue.

Larry Kroll, Coeur d’Alene, reported Tuesday the $13,820 theft of jewelry, tools and miscellaneous items and $500 damage to a window of his home on the 6500 block of Fernan Lake Road.

Post Falls police

Kenneth Sand, Coeur d’Alene, reported Saturday the $550 theft of tools, fishing equipment and a television from his storage unit in Post Falls.

David Sommer, Sagle, reported Saturday the $3,000 theft of a boat from Pend Oreille Shores Marina in Hope.

Patricia DeMarco, Sandpoint, reported Saturday the $400 theft of a videocassette recorder, tape deck, answering machine and coins from the Selkirk School.

Eric Jones, Sandpoint, reported Monday the $3,500 theft of car parts from a home on Center Valley Road.
