Pf Wins Non-League Duals

Five Post Falls wrestlers won twice Wednesday to lead the Trojans to a pair of non-league dual wins at home over Cheney and Priest River.

Trojans Jeff Mason (119 pounds), Chris Booth (125), Luke Smith (140), Josh Day (160) and Bryan Roberts (171 and 189) all won twice. Booth had two pins; Smith added one pin and one major decision.

The Trojans still await the return of 189-pounder Justin Mecham (shoulder injury).

Mullan 60, Wallace 51

Chris Angle scored 24 and Al Sisk had 12 rebounds to lead a 37-22 advantage on the boards as the visiting Tigers (5-1) beat the Miners (1-6) in a non-leaguer originally scheduled Dec. 18.

Mullan’s edge on offensive rebounds was 17-7. Kevin Lee’s 18 points paced Wallace, which pulled within six points with 4 minutes left before fading.
