Former U.S. Ski Team Member Dies
Alfred Vincelette, a former member of the U.S. Ski Team, was killed in a skiing accident on Bald Mountain.
Vincelette, 61, who lived in San Francisco and had a condominium in Sun Valley, died Tuesday after hitting a permanent skiing marker, Blaine County Coroner Russ Mikel said.
The death was the third of a skier in three years at Sun Valley. It came less than a week after a panel of skiers and snowboarders met in Ketchum to discuss safety on the mountain.
