Agri Beef Founder Dead At 58

Prominent Idaho cattleman Robert N. Rebholtz died Wednesday at age 58 after a nine-month battle against cancer.

Rebholtz moved to Boise in 1978 and founded a successful diversified agri-business, Agri Beef Co.

Funeral mass will be celebrated today at 10 a.m. at St. John’s Cathedral, Boise.

He was chairman of the National Livestock and Meat Board and the Beef Industry Council and president of the Idaho Cattlemen’s Association and a director of the Idaho Beef Council.

Rebholtz is survived by his wife, Dorothy and four children.
