Kingdom Found Wins

Kingdom Found closed quickly in the final furlong for a 2-3/4-length victory over Savinio in the $198,200 San Pasqual Handicap at soggy Santa Anita.

Ridden by Gary Stevens, Kingdom Found covered 1-1/16 miles in 1:40 3-5 on a sloppy main track and paid $11.40 and $4.60.

Savinio returned $2.80 as the favorite. Eltish passed pacesetter Paying Dues to take third in the four-horse field.

There was no show wagering after Breeders’ Cup Classic winner Alphabet Soup, Dramatic Gold and Marlin were scratched.
