Desmond Tutu Has Prostate Cancer
Retired Anglican Archbishop Desmond Tutu revealed Friday that doctors found cancer in his prostate gland and were unsure if the disease had spread any further.
Speaking to journalists from a hospital bed, Tutu, 65, said he hoped to be able to complete his work as chairman of South Africa’s Truth and Reconciliation Commission.
“We, of course, believe God is right here in our anguish and pain,” he said.
