Teacher’s poem vulgar

In regards to the poem by Otis Orchards Elementary teacher Donna Simon, excerpted in the Jan. 9 Valley Voice):

Vulgar is not one of the adjectives used to describe “eloquence.”

The icicles hung from the eaves like cold snot

as we drew up plans to have weathermen shot
