Holly Turner scored 15 of her 20 points for Mead in the second half as the Panthers defeated Rogers 65-44, at Rogers, in Greater Spokane League play Friday.

The Panthers (10-1, 7-0), ranked fifth in the state, pulled out in front early and led 34-21 at the half.

Allie Bailey addded 12 points and Jennifer Bennett had 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Panthers who dominated the inside.

Angel Fairbanks scored a career-high 17 points for Rogers (6-5, 4-3).

Lee’s 37 was three points shy of the league record set in 1991-92 by former Bear Courtney Hepton.

Ninth-ranked CV made 40 of 68 shots from the field.

Andrea Kallas scored 24 for the Bears. Alice Stearns led the Indians with 13.
