Eastern Utah Takes First Place From Cardinals

Eastern Utah jumped out to a 9-0 lead and then turned back a second-half rally to hand North Idaho an 86-76 defeat in a Scenic West Athletic Conference men’s basketball game at Price, Utah, Saturday night.

The Eagles (17-2, 6-1), who led by as much as 17 in the first half, reclaimed the top spot in the conference from NIC (14-2, 6-2).

The Cardinals had five players score in double figures, led by the 16 of Andre McKanstry. Chris Harrison had a team-high 10 rebounds.

Harold Arceneaux connected for a game-high 26 points, while K’zell Wesson scored 19 for Eastern Utah.
