Steven Pfiester Bovill, Idaho

Viewing for Steven Dean Pfiester, 39, will be Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Short’s Funeral Chapel in Moscow. Service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Elk River (Idaho) Community Bible Church. Burial will be at the Elk River Cemetery.

Mr. Pfiester, who was born in St. Maries, died Thursday of cancer.

He grew up and attended schools in Elk River.

Mr. Pfiester had worked for Potlatch Corp. and other logging companies for 15 years, most recently for St. Maries Logging.

He was an elder at the Elk River Community Bible Church.

Survivors include his wife, Traci; two daughters, Angie and Staci; his parents, Bob and Norma Pfiester of Elk River; and three sisters, Chris Yockey of Troy, Idaho, Kathy Taylor of Rigby, Idaho, and Cheryl Brinkley of Bellingham.
