Volunteer Nominations Sought

United Way of Spokane County is soliciting nominations for volunteer of the year.

Each year the charity honors people with the Golden Rule Award for their community volunteer work. The honor is given to one person or agency in each of the following categories: youth; adult; senior; business; group; public service; education; organized labor; and volunteer coordinator.

Nomination forms are available by calling United Way’s volunteer center at 624-2279 or 838-6581. Nominations must be submitted by Feb. 17. Winners will be announced at a luncheon April 16. , DataTimes
