Crooks Target Daley While He’s In D.C.

While U.S. Commerce Secretary-designate William Daley was in Washington for confirmation hearings, his Northwest Side home was burglarized, Chicago police said Thursday.

Police said they were investigating the burglary, which they believe occurred sometime between 10 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. Thursday.

Daley, a brother of Chicago Mayor Richard Daley, declined to comment on the incident.
