Nanny Told Police Ramseys Kind To Kids

Compiled From Wire Services

A former nanny for JonBenet Ramsey’s parents said “they never hit their children” when investigators inquired about the possibility of abuse, The Boulder Camera reported Friday.

Shirley Brady, the Ramseys’ nanny in Georgia from 1986 to 1989, said police also asked “how the children acted when they were around their daddy.”

“The Ramseys were the kindest, most loving parents that I’ve ever met,” Brady said. “They never hit their children. I never heard them even speak a harsh word to their children. It’s insane to think that the family could do anything like this.”

JonBenet, a 6-year-old former Little Miss Colorado, was found strangled in the basement of her Boulder home on Dec. 26. Media reports said she also was sexually assaulted and her skull was fractured.
