Nina Culver Correspondent

A women’s Bible study class begins next month at Opportunity Presbyterian Church.

The class mill meet every Sunday, starting Feb. 2, from 10 to 10:30 a.m. at the church, 202 N. Pines.

Class members will begin by studying the book of Ephesians.

The class is free and no advance registration is required. Women of all ages are invited to attend. Participants are asked to bring their own Bibles.

For more information, call the church office at 924-9750.

Craft class back by popular demand

Opportunity Presbyterian has also started a craft class, which returns by popular demand.

The class meets at the church on the second Tuesday of every month from 7 to 9 p.m.

It is a ‘make it-take it” program where participants pay a nominal fee for supplies and take their project home when it is completed. The fee changes depending on the cost of the materials for the month’s project.

No experience in craft making is necessary. Participants are asked to sign up by calling the church office in advance of each month’s class.

Community dinner

A community dinner will be served at Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2511 S. Pines, Tuesday at 6 p.m.

The free dinner is held on the last Tuesday of every month.

Those who need transportation can call the church office (926-7966) in advance to request a ride.
