Alphand Wins Super-G

Luc Alphand of France won the super-G, the first of his World Cup career in that discipline.

In near-perfect conditions, Alphand, the two-time reigning World Cup downhill champion, blazed down the course in 1 minute, 25.23 seconds to record his 10th career win.

Daron Rahlves was the fastest American, finishing 11th in 1:26.16.
