Danilovic Paces Yugoslavia

Predrag Danilovic led Yugoslavia to a 75-60 victory over Lithuania in the quarterfinals of the European Basketball Championships.

Danilovic, who played for the Dallas Mavericks and recently signed with Kinder Bologna of the Italian league, scored 21 points.

Yugoslavia will play Greece in the semifinals. Greece eliminated Poland 72-62.

Russia and Italy are the other semifinalists. Russia beat Spain 70-67 and Italy downed Turkey 66-43.
