Economic Council Members Named

From Staff And Wire Reports

A Panhandle utility manager and a Magic Valley car dealer are the newest members of the Idaho Economic Advisory Council.

Gov. Phil Batt has named Paul Anderson of Coeur d’Alene, area manager for Washington Water Power Co., and Con Paulos, who owns Con Paulos Chevrolet in Jerome, to the six-member panel overseeing economic development activities at the Department of Commerce.

Anderson replaces Dale Lavigne of Osburn, who served two three-year terms, and Paulos fills the vacancy of Twin Falls car dealer Roy Raymond, who was killed in a commercial airplane crash in Michigan last January. Raymond had also served two three-year terms, the last as chairman of the council.
