Man Shot In Leg At Party

From Staff And Wire Reports

A 26-year-old Spokane man was shot in the leg early Sunday during an argument at a party near Fourth and Ray.

Police were called to the 3200 block of East Fourth about 2 a.m. The victim had been taken to an area hospital in a car. He was treated and released.

About a dozen witnesses told police the man had been standing in front of a home taking with another man. The victim started to walk into the house when at least two gunshots were fired. One hit him in the leg, police said.

The shooter ran to a parked car and drove west on Fourth. Police had not made an arrest as of Monday.
