Clinton’s Lawyer Seeks Documents With Jones’ Details

Associated Press

President Clinton’s lawyer wants to see the affidavit that describes distinguishing characteristics that Paula Jones claims to have seen in the then-governor’s genital area when he allegedly propositioned her six years ago.

Clinton’s attorney, Robert Bennett, asked for the documents in a request sent July 3. Also requested were Jones’ answers to questions in connection to her sexual harassment lawsuit against the president.

“They are very broad, far-reaching questions to Paula as well as requests for documents,” said one of Jones’ attorneys, Joseph Cammarata.

In a case filed in 1994, Jones alleges she was summoned to Clinton’s room at the Excelsior Hotel in Little Rock three years earlier.

She claimed that Clinton exposed himself and asked her to perform a sex act. Clinton filed his formal response to the case last week, denying all of Jones’ allegations.
