Jazz Re-Sign Two

Free agents Antoine Carr and Shandon Anderson were re-signed by the Utah Jazz.

Carr, who signed for one year, and Anderson, who signed for two, said they received offers from other teams but that money wasn’t a factor in their decisions. Instead, they said their loyalty to the team and their families was the first consideration.

In other NBA signings, the Houston Rockets signed their two draft picks, swingman Rodrick Rhodes and center Serge Zwikker; the New York Knicks signed first-round draft pick John Thomas; and the Miami Heat re-signed guard Voshon Lenard.
