Lottery, Resort Join For Scratch Ticket

From Staff Reports

In its first partnership with private enterprise, the Idaho Lottery has joined forces with The Coeur d’Alene Resort for a new scratch ticket game called “Go For The Green.”

Lottery officials made the announcement this week at The Coeur d’Alene Resort Golf Course - and its unique floating green - to unveil the product.

Duane Hagadone, chairman of Hagadone Hospitality, purchased the first $2 ticket from Idaho Lottery retailer Fred Prim of Coeur d’Alene.

He won $4.

The game features nine “holes” of golf that are scratched to reveal cash prizes up to $18,000. The score must be par or under for the hole in order to win.

The $18,000 prize requires a hole-in-one. A picture of the Floating Green offers the chance to win one of 10 bonus vacation packages at resort, donated by Hagadone Hospitality.

The Idaho Lottery approached his company, seeking a partner to supply additional prizes without further tapping ticket sales revenue, said Rick Calinsky, lottery marketing director.
