B.C. Woman Charged With Jury Tampering

From Staff And Wire Reports

A woman accused of having an affair with a man while serving on the jury of his murder trial has been ordered to stand trial.

Gillian Guess, 41, of North Vancouver is charged with jury tampering in the longest and one of the most expensive criminal trials in British Columbia history.

Guess, who worked as a part-time victim counselor with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police during the trial, claimed she didn’t start seeing Peter Gill until after his trial was over.

Gill was one of six people acquitted in the 1994 murders of Ron and Jimmy Dosanjh in Vancouver.
