The Richmond Rage of the American Basketball League is being moved to Philadelphia, according to the league’s chief executive officer.

The official announcement is expected within a week.

The Rage, led by flashy point guard Dawn Staley, took the Columbus Quest to the limit before losing in the first championship series.

But, the team never became the rage in Virginia, drawing poorly and losing between $500,000 and $600,000 last season.
