Andrea Stinson had 19 points and 10 rebounds and the host Charlotte Sting remained unbeaten at home with a 75-63 victory over the Utah Starzz on Wednesday night.

Stinson added five assists and three steals as the Sting, who have yet to win any of their five road games, sent Utah to its fifth loss in as many games against Eastern Conference teams.

The Starzz were unable to overcome early shooting problems and fell to 0-2 on their five-game Eastern swing.

The game drew an announced crowd of 6,110, the smallest of the season at the Charlotte Coliseum.

Phoenix point guard Michele Timms had 17 points, five assists and a team-record four 3-pointers as the Mercury defeated Sacramento.

Sacramento guard Chantel Tremitiere, the WNBA’s leader in minutes played, injured her left knee with 59 seconds to play and was carried off the court by her teammates.
