Man Arrested For Driving Into Brother

A 34-year-old Spokane Valley man was arrested last week for driving his car into his brother during an argument.

Stephen B. Stacy, of 530 S. Farr Road, was booked into jail last Wednesday for first-degree assault.

The victim, Stacy’s 33-year-old brother, suffered muscle and ligament injuries to his left wrist, arm and elbow.

The injured man told deputies the dispute began while he was riding in Stacy’s BMW on Sprague Avenue. The two men began arguing over a finder’s fee Stacy wanted for getting his brother a job.

When Stacy pulled the car into a parking lot, his brother got out and challenged Stacy to a fight.

According to the Sheriff’s Department, the brother admitted kicking the car’s door when Stacy began driving away. Stacy then drove rapidly toward the victim, who jumped up and rolled onto the car’s hood, shattering the windshield.

After hitting his brother, Stacy drove away, according to the Sheriff’s Department. A deputy found the damaged BMW at Stacy’s home and arrested him there.
