Denmark Biker Gangs Trying To Stop Rivalry

Talks are under way between two feuding Nordic offshoots of U.S. motorcycle gangs, the Hells Angels and the Bandidos, police said Friday.

The talks raised hopes for an end to a three-year rivalry that has killed at least 12 people and injured more than 70 in Denmark, Norway, Finland and Sweden.

Chief Criminal Commissioner Per Larsen told The Associated Press that lawyer Thorkild Hoeyer has “had a dialogue with both sides” since early June.
