Two Killed, One Hurt In Car Crash

Two teenagers died and another was hurt Sunday as a result of an early morning car wreck on Spirit Lake Road.

The driver, 18-year-old Lucas Wilson, missed a curve, drove off the road and into a tree about 4 a.m. By the time Idaho State Police arrived, Wilson and 14-year-old Shelly Calhoun were dead.

Another passenger, 17-year-old Sean Calhoun, was taken to Kootenai Medical Center. He was in critical condition early Sunday but was listed in fair condition by evening, according to KMC nursing staff.

Wilson was from Anchorage, Alaska, and the Calhouns are from Modesto, Calif.

Troopers still are investigating the accident. , DataTimes
