Boyfriend Accused Of Assault, Rape

A 37-year-old man was being held Monday in the Shoshone County Jail for allegedly assaulting and raping his Wallace girlfriend over two days.

Sheriff’s deputies said Ronald Pedro attacked his 35-year-old live-in girlfriend with a knife, beat her and raped her. Pedro was booked into jail for investigation of aggravated assault and rape. The attack spanned parts of Friday and Saturday, deputies said.

Bond was set at $20,000.

The woman was taken to Shoshone Medical Center, where she was treated for a cut on her leg and injuries to her head and body, and released. , DataTimes
